Eye contact detection is a feature within the video editor’s AI Enhance tool that uses AI to identify and enhance eye contact between the speaker and the camera.
This feature is especially useful for creating a more engaging video experience, as it can subtly adjust the positioning of a speaker’s eyes to simulate direct eye contact with viewers, even if the speaker was looking slightly off-camera during recording.
To apply Eye Contact Detection to a video project:
Open the video project you want to edit.
Select the video track, where a toolbar will appear on the far right side of the screen.
Select AI Enhance, toggle on Eye Contact, and click Apply Enhancements.
You can also apply eye contact detection by using the AI Assistant.
