How Magic Dust Works:
Magic Dust is part of the AI Assistant uses advanced algorithms to transform raw recordings into studio-quality audio. Here’s a breakdown of its key features:
Noise Reduction: Magic Dust effectively filters out background noise, such as air conditioners, keyboard clicks, or distant traffic, leaving you with a clear, crisp recording.
Equalization: It automatically balances audio frequencies by adjusting the low, mid, and high ranges, ensuring that your voice sounds full and natural.
Vocal Smoothing: The tool enhances vocal quality by making subtle adjustments to soften harsh sounds and balance dynamics so the voice sounds even and polished.

Podcasts: Provides professional audio quality, even if recorded at home.
Interviews & Guest Speakers: Improves clarity, regardless of how varied the recording conditions may be.

How to Apply Magic Dust:
You can easily add Magic Dust to audio and video recordings using Podcastle’s intuitive interface:
1. For single audio clips:
Right-click on the audio clip within your project.
Select Add Magic Dust AI from the menu.
2. For multiple audio clips:
Highlight the audio clips you want to enhance.
Click the Magic Dust AI button in the toolbar to apply the effect to all selected clips at once.
3. For entire audio projects:
Click the AI Assistant option in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
Select Apply Magic Dust AI. This will apply Magic Dust to the entire project.
4. For video recordings:
Open the video in Podcastle’s Video Editor.
Click the AI Assistant option in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
Select Apply Magic Dust AI to optimize the audio quality for the entire video recording.
💥Tips & Tricks💥
Magic Dust includes all additional tools within the AI Assistant (Noise Reduction, Auto-Leveling, and Silence Removal). For this reason, we do not recommend applying these tools in addition to Magic Dust, as it can distort the quality of the effect.
Magic Dust is not recommended for music tracks, multi-layered musical compositions, or audio with complex instrumental arrangements, as the AI is optimized to focus on vocal clarity and noise reduction.
