How do I upload a video or image to the Video Editor?

With Podcastle’s Video Editor 2.0, you now have the ability to upload videos that have been recorded outside of Podcastle can be uploaded and edited from within your Podcastle account. Using the instructions below, you can also upload images into your video project.

To upload a video or image:

  1. Create a new video project or open an existing video project.

  2. Select Files. Here, you’ll find several selections to choose from:

    1. All Files. Refers to any recently uploaded file.

    2. Current Project. Refers to the current video project you are working on.

    3. Favorites. Refers to any files that you have added to your favorites folder.

    4. Other Projects. Allows you to select from other projects that have been created within Podcastle.

    5. Archive. Refers to projects that have been moved to your Archived folder.

    6. Upload. Select the upwards arrow to upload a video or image from your device.

3. Hover over the three horizontal dots and click + Add to project. You can also choose to Favorite or Archive.

4. Your video or image will be uploaded as a new track, and you can immediately begin using Podcastle’s AI video tools.

💥Tips & Tricks💥

  • Adding a second layer of your current project is a great way to add to the lower thirds of your video and achieve a “talking head” effect.

  • You can use the basic editing tools to edit each layer as needed.
