Accepting and denying recording participants
Updated this week

The Podcastle studio experience was designed as “non host-centric approach”, which simply means that the studio can be active even when the host is not inside.

As the recording host, you have the option to accept or deny entry to studio guests. For scheduled recordings, you can toggle on Admit/Deny guests during the scheduling process.

Once the host has entered the studio, guests waiting to be accepted into the studio will appear on the top right corner of the recording studio under Participants. Click Admit or Deny for each participant.

💥Tips & Tricks💥

  • Heads up! Even with the Admit/Deny toggle off, if an uninvited guest attempts to enter the recording studio, they will need to be granted access by the host.

  • When creating a studio, toggling on Admit/Deny guests means that all guests will need to be approved by the host before they can enter the studio. This is toggled on by default. If toggled off, it means that guests can automatically enter the studio if:

    • They have been invited to the scheduled recording.

    • It is the time of the scheduled recording.

    • The guest has a Podcastle account.
