After a studio has been created, you can view studio details and update the settings at any time.
How to view Studio Settings:
Navigate to the Studios tab, click the three vertical dots located on the far right of the studio and click Edit.
Here, you can view and make changes to all studio settings. Be sure to click Save changes before leaving the page!
Studio Info:
Name refers to the name of your studio. This is what your guests will see upon entering the studio and what your studio will appear as to guest when they receive a recording invitation.
Description refers to the description of your studio. The studio description is optional and will only be visible to the host and their team members if it’s a Team Workspace.
Recording Mode: Refers to whether your studio will be audio-only, or will include video as well. Keep in mind that even if audio-only is chose, hosts and guests can always choose to see each other while recording. This section also indicates the number of remaining recording hours in your plan.
Default studio: All Podcastle users are set up with a default studio. The default studio name is automatically set as “Username’s studio” (i.e. Jane’s Studio). This name is visible to both hosts and participants.
Admit/Deny guests: When toggled on, all guests will need to be approved by the host before they can enter the studio. Uninvited guests will always need to be approved before entering the studio.
Delete studio: Deleting a studio will delete the studio’s static link, but it will not affect existing recordings. Deleting a studio is a permanent action that cannot be undone.
Studio Settings for Team Workspaces
Studios that are created in a Team Workspace are separate from those created in your Personal Workspace.
After creating a studio within your Team Workspace, only the person who created the studio has the ability to make changes to it.
If the studio creator’s Podcastle account is deleted, all studios that the team member created will be deleted as well.
If the studio creator’s Podcastle account is downgraded to a Basic plan, all studios other than their default studio will be deleted.
