How do I request a guest to change their device?

As the recording host, you may wish for your guest to change devices. This might be to improve audio or video quality, address connectivity issues, or minimize background noise. If the guest's current device has technical difficulties like lag or poor microphone performance, switching to another device can enhance the overall recording quality.

To request your guest to switch devices within the studio:

  1. Click the Participants icon, located in the far right corner of the screen.

  2. Click on the Settings button for the guest.

  3. Request the device change.

  4. Your guest will have the option to approve or deny the request.
