How to leave a Studio
Updated this week

As a studio host, there are several options to end your recording session- from within the active Recording Studio, or from the Studios tab, while the studio is still active.

Leaving from within the studio:

  1. Within the active Recording Studio, click the red End button.

  2. Select Leave studio or End session for everyone.

    1. By selecting Leave studio, the recording will continue for your guests, allowing them to carry on without interruption.

    2. By selecting End session for everyone, the recording will stop for all participants.

Ending the session from the Studios tab:

  1. Navigate to the Studios tab.

  2. In the top right corner, you can view if participants are still active

  3. Click End session for everyone to end the session and stop recording. If all participants have left the studio, recording will continue for 3 minutes and will be automatically stopped if no new participants enter the studio after this time has lapsed.

💥Tips & Tricks💥

As the host, you might choose to leave a virtual recording studio while guests are still recording for several reasons:

  • Guest-Only Conversations: You may want to allow your guests to continue an in-depth discussion without your presence, encouraging more open dialogue or allowing the guests to explore topics more freely.

  • Time Management: If the your portion of the recording is complete, but guests still need to wrap up additional content, the host can leave while guests continue recording, saving time and allowing for productivity.

  • Technical Facilitation: Sometimes, the host may help guests get set up, start the recording process, and then leave so the recording can proceed without them.

This feature ensures that the recording proceeds smoothly even without the host, giving both the host and guests flexibility during the session.
