AI voice skins are hyper realistic AI-generated voices that offer a variety of different voice characteristics, accents, tones, and styles. At Podcastle, we offer 200+ different voices, 12 categories, allowing you to tailor content to your preferences. We also offer voice cloning, where you can create a digital version of your very own voice.
Voice skins are most commonly used in generating text-to-speech.
To access Podcastle’s voice skins:
Create a new project or select an existing project.
Select AI Voices from the menu on the far left toolbar.
3. You can filter by accent, tone, or category, and listen to samples by hovering the name’s initial and pressing the play button. Once you’ve indicated your voice selection, click on the name and a text box will pop up.
4. Paste or type the text in the text box and click Generate.
5. Click the play button on the timeline to listen to your generated text using the AI voice.
6. To make changes to the text or choose a new speaker navigate to the text editor in the Audio Editor and edit the script or click Choose Speaker to change the AI voice skin. Or right-click on the track and select Edit text. In the Video Editor, right click on the track and select Edit text.
7. You can also create a dialogue with multiple voices:
In the Audio Editor: Click Add Paragraph to introduce a new voice.
In the Video Editor: Click AI Voices again and choose a different voice.
This will automatically generate a new track for the selected voice.
