What is My Digital Voice?
Updated this week

Podcastle’s Revoice feature allows you to create a digital version of your voice using AI technology. After recording a few minutes of audio, Revoice generates an AI-powered voice model that can later be used to automatically generate voiceovers or narrations by simply typing text.

How to record your digital voice:

  1. Navigate to My Digital Voices on the left side of the homepage.

  2. Click + Create voice.

  3. You'll be prompted to record 70 sentences in English. You don’t have to do it all at once — your progress will be automatically saved, so feel free to pause and come back to it later. Once you’re ready to record, click Continue.

  4. Record yourself reading the text, starting with the legal disclaimer.

  5. Once you are done recording, your voice will be submitted for processing. Within 24 hours, your digital voice appear under My Digital Voices with a “Completed” indicator. If there are any issues during processing, we’ll notify you with any sentences to re-record.

How to use your digital voice:

  1. To begin using your digital voice immediately, navigate back to My Digital Voices and click the Revoice button located on the far right side of the recording.

  2. A new audio project will be created and the Text Editor will pop out. Type or paste your desired text and click Generate to create audio in your digital voice.

  3. You can also use your digital voice from directly within the Audio Editor. Navigate to Voices, located on the far left side of the editor, and select My Voices.

  4. Select your voice, type or paste your desired text and click Generate to create audio in your digital voice.

💥Tips & Tricks💥

When recording your digital voice, we recommend the following:

  • Make sure you’re in a quiet location without any background noise.

  • Test your microphone to ensure your voice is loud and clear.

  • We don’t recommend using your computer’s microphone due to potential for echos, but headphone mics work just fine!
