Autoscroll is turned on in the Audio Editor. It automatically scrolls, so the part that is being played is always visible.

If you want to scroll while editing your audio manually, you can turn it off by clicking on it. It should look like this:

You can turn it off manually, or if you scroll to the left during playback, it will automatically turn off, so it won't bounce back and forth.
