How do I add subtitles to my video?

Adding subtitles to your video content is a great way to boost accessibility and engagement. Subtitles not only make your videos more inclusive but also cater to viewers who prefer or require text-based content.

To add subtitles to your video:

  1. Navigate to Subtitles, the icon located on the bottom left side of the editor panel.

2. Select the file(s) you want to transcribe, indicate the language that is spoken in the video, and select your preferred text style. Click Generate. Depending on the length of your file(s), it may take a few moments for the subtitles to generate.

3. The transcribed text is now available overlayed in the video and you can you can edit the text, edit the font and download your subtitles.

💥Tips & Tricks💥

  • Text and images will be filtered out of the subtitle transcription process.

  • Subtitles will be created for your entire video project, meaning that individual clips are unable to be transcribed.
