Transcription settings can be accessed from within Text Mode Once your audio file has been transcribed, click the settings button for additional functionality within the text editor.

Font Size: Select from small, medium or large size font to appear in the text editor.

Snap Clips: When toggled on, this feature decides whether a removed word should leave a gap in the audio or not.

Simple Mode: If you have two or more speakers, turning this feature on will show all text in a single line.

Remove Empty Clips: When toggled on, this feature ensures that any empty clips left after removing words will be automatically removed.

Track Visibility: Toggle tracks on and off for visibility within the text editor.

Silent Segments: When unchecked, silent segments will not appear within the transcription.

Music and sfx markers: When checked, indicates if music or special effect is present in the file.

💥Tips & Tricks💥

  • If you have guests on your podcast, we usually recommend toggling off Snap Clips. When turned on with multiple speakers, it can seem like the guest and host are talking over each other.

  • Simple Mode cannot be toggled with files that only include one speaker.

  • Use Track visibility to quickly and easily edit one speaker at a time.
