How to edit using the “words” function in Text Mode
Updated over a week ago

After transcribing your audio, you can use the words function to make changes both to the transcript and directly to your audio.

To use the Words function:

  1. Navigate to the text editor and click on an individual word.

  2. Play from here: Will play the audio beginning from the word you selected.

  3. Correct: Edit a word within the transcript only.

    1. NOTE: If you choose to edit words within the transcript, you are correcting the transcript itself and NOT the audio file.

  4. Highlight: Highlights a word to appear on the transcription export.

  5. Remove: Remove a word or group of words from both the transcript and the audio file.

Within the text editor, you can also remove filler words, remove silences, update settings, and export the transcript.
