How do I use the equalizer?
How do I use the equalizer?
Updated over a week ago

Let’s get started. What is an equalizer and what does it do?

In audio editing, an equalizer is a real-time audio effect that allows us to adjust the frequencies of an audio signal. Think of it as a control panel for your sound, giving you the ability to enhance or modify specific frequency ranges.

Each audio signal consists of different frequencies, from low bass tones to high treble tones. An equalizer lets us manipulate these frequencies individually, giving us precise control over the audio's tonal balance.

Here is how to use it:

1) Click on the three dots next to the track's name you want to apply the equalizer.

2) Select Show Options.

3) A toolbar will pop out on the right-hand side; click on Add Effect and then Equalizer.

4) Adjust the frequencies as needed.

5) If you need to turn it off or delete it, you can do so by turning the toggle off or clicking on Delete next to the Equalizer.
