Using the teleprompter
Updated over a week ago

Podcastle's teleprompter feature helps users record content seamlessly by displaying a customizable script directly on the screen. As you speak, the teleprompter scrolls at an adjustable pace, allowing you to stay on track with your script while maintaining a natural flow. This tool makes it easy to deliver polished, professional audio and video content without the need for memorization.

Steps to using the teleprompter:

  1. Enter the studio and click the scroll icon, located in the bottom right corner of the studio.

  2. A text box will appear on the right side of the screen. Type or paste your script into this text box.

  3. Once you are ready to begin using the teleprompter, click on the black Teleprompter button, opening your movable script.

Teleprompter controls:

  1. Play/Pause: Starts and stops the teleprompter scroll.

  2. Restart: Restarts the scroll from the beginning of the script.

  3. Speed: Drag the cursor between the snail and rabbit icons to decrease or increase the scroll speed.

  4. Text: Drag the cursor between the text sizes to decrease or increase the font size.

  5. Opacity: Drag the cursor between the circles to decrease or increase the script opacity.

  6. Placement: To move the location of the script, click on the 6 dots in the far right corner and drag to your desired location. You can also adjust the size of the teleprompter by dragging the edges of the script.
